I am going with my parents to a reception of an Indian sikh family, i was wondering if it is appropriate to wear an evening gown? or I have to wear Indian wear?

yes you can wear evening gown unless it is strictly prohibited in that family!!!!What type of evening gown r u going to wear?can i have a pic of it?

i’d be better if u wear indian wears if having….
otherwise indian suit will be best. as it is a traditional one in sikh.n

no it will look like u have worn it to grab an attention,and it also becomes embarrassing when only u will turn up in gown and rest others in indian wear.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
