Right now is the time (January), many dresses sell out by prom time! At least the best ones do. Check out http://www.PromDressShop.com they have the best dresses on -line and are very unique.

You don't want to go to a mall store because you'll end up with the same dress on that everyone else has on and that's embarrassing!

I'd say April. That way you have more than enough time to look, but also you won't wind up buying something and then later totally change opinions and want a different stye of dress which i swaht you risk getting one too early in the game.

Girls start looking for prom dresses now. Same as brides. If you go to a bridal show chances are you will see a prom dress or two also. The new arrivals start coming in any time now. If you have a reputable shop near you that promises to only sell one of each dress per school the early bird gets the biggest pick. If you are going more retail I know I saw them already on the rack at JCP the other day.

When do high school girls start shopping for prom dresses?
I know it depends on when the prom is, but when do girls start thinking about what they are going to wear? a few weeks before? months before? In march? april? If you are a high school student, when is your prom and when will you start looking?
(I run an ebay store and we just started getting in prom dresses…so trying to figure out when to start listing them)
