I’m attending a wedding in a couple days and bought a short black dress for the occasion. I was wondering if I should wear pantyhose or not and if so, which color?
yes you should definitely wear pantyhose. I think that either black, or nude would look good! Going bare legged would look trashy, tacky, and unsophisticated!

Absolutely. I always go for skin tone color. If you are thin, which I am not, then a black would also look good. Be sure you have nice shoes.

Sorry , in the uk and ireland pants are knickers so for a minute there i thought you were not going to wear any underwear. Ha! Well i think pantyhose(tights) are a good Winter look. Black ones with black dress and shoes can look very sophisticated. I say go with pantyhose and pantys too!

Yes, you definitely should wear pantyhose. Very sheer black will look good or tan. You’ll look a lot better than with bare legs and after all it is a wedding and not a beach party.

For a wedding I say yes….a wedding and a black dress…not wearing some sort of hose would be a bad idea. I know the trend these days is for women to go bare but I think that is a bad idea. Unless you are very young and have great legs special events require that "finished" look. I would suggest sheer black hose and if you hate pantyhose try thigh highs or even stockings with a garter belt. Stockings are more work but they will make you feel special and sexy!

Definitely. It’s a wedding so you should look well dressed, which means hose and heels with your dress

It’s a wedding, no question here…hose and heels required. They took the time to get the place, pay for the food, and arrange a beautiful setting. Your part is to arrange yourself in a nice manner including dressing up.
